It's not really even $40 off. It's $20 off $400 (a mere 5%, and that's only if you spend $400 exactly instead of more) followed by a $20 voucher issued a week later which you will end up spending on another product that has another postage cost built into the price. And generally speaking the prices aren't all that great in the first place.
Eh, my experiences with DWI are pretty good. When I was buying at least they were competitive on camera prices (and no BS cheap price then ripoff shipping)
Here are a few cameras I looked at:
The FZ1000: http://www.dwidigitalcameras.com.au/astore/Panasonic-Lumix-D…
Cheaper at: http://www.discountcameras.com.au/view_product/57444#
The RX10 II: http://www.dwidigitalcameras.com.au/astore/Sony-Cybershot-DS…
Almost the same price here (and I bet you anything you could get a price match): http://www.leedervillecameras.com.au/products/digital/sony--… (+ $16 shipping)
A G7 + 14-42 kit: http://www.dwidigitalcameras.com.au/astore/Panasonic-Lumix-D…
Much cheaper here: http://www.discountcameras.com.au/view_product/71942?page=2
In fact you can even get a twin lens kit for less: http://www.discountcameras.com.au/view_product/71943?page=2
(Discount Cameras are not a grey importer; they are affiliated with Michael's Camera Store)
I stopped looking after that.
I'm sure you can find some things that DWI sells cheaper than anyone else but I haven't bought a single piece of grey market camera gear since 2013 because the price differential on everything I was interested in just wasn't there any more.
Lenses might be different. I've had all the lenses I need for some time now.
$40 off $400 spend?
