    Phone Mount $2

I was going to make a joke about mounting phones, but I'm too depressed about the cricket… :(

    • +5

haha … I'm half English, half Australian, so it's a Win/Win for me!

      • +1

It's a win for me because Australia lost!

    • +1

but collingwood doesn't play cricket anymore…

    • At least we won one test match :D

    • When Australia won the 2nd test match, there was a poll on cricinfo.com about predicting the result of the series. I voted for 3-1 Australia and was laughing at 1-3 England option. And now EXTRA is highest scorer in first innings. I will be happy with a 2-2 series result now. :(

  • Anyone know what's the quality like for the powercases?

  • Not sure that supporting a phone in the air by just it's lightning socket is such a good idea - especially the heavier iPhones. Something's gotta give.

  • Don't often post on here but thought I would share my recent Kogan experience:

Totally happy customer after swearing off them for life.

They were able to refund the total replacement cost of a defective grey market iPhone to one under Australian warranty rules. Not only that. But I now get a full replacement warranty from Apple.

For the 2 dollars that this deal calls for in the case of iPhone cables. It is worth the risk.

And customer service has improved beyond belief.

Then again. Hopefully you are polite and know your rights from the ACCC website if you receive a defective product.

I have previously begged a lot of deals from Kogan due to the quality of product. But found them now to be respectful of the consumer law.

    Hope someone finds this useful.

"I have previously begged a lot of deals from Kogan due to the quality of product."
      I neg your pardon?

    Kogan. No deal.

Thanks, I bought a powercase on impulse. $9 is fine to satisfy curiosity, original price would be no-no.

After a month you realize nothing in your mail box, then ring them up you will hear "Oh dear, still not receive the product yet ? I can do a refund for you."

I tried on TV, Android Pad and Notebook, it's improving "my life" since I'm not ordering from them.

    no stock

    • Thanks, noted

  • If you see any XLR cables, let me know!

    • Bought a S4 case. Thanks!!!

  • We will see how the note 2 battery case goes.

I have the zerolemon case and battery on now but a little change will not hurt

  • so you basically need to have a cable with it (looking at the note 3 case)?

  • Hmm… the case is decently priced, but I have so many battery packs now and those cases are rather bulky. Decisions…

Universal phone holder any good? I have been trying to find a good phone holder .

Looks alright for 2$ I also got the black a view for 2$

  • I got one of those powercases from catch of the day deal. It big and looks so ugly on the phone. I only use it when I travel.

  • +3

Looks like the $2 Universal Phone holder requires you stick a piece of obtrusive plastic onto the back of your phone.

    Definitely, not.

Still on the hunt for a bargain phone holder.
    thanks for the deal anyhow.

    • My thoughts exactly!

  • Sold too many magic cables…. Refund offered

  • Avoid the powercase (IPhone5), just got one in today, my charging cable will not stay plugged in, it's loose and stops charging. It does not make a good connection with the plug, slightest movement and it stops charging.

    • Hi Austrian Oak,
Sorry to hear that you're experiencing some difficulties with the Power Case. We'd appreciate if you could send us a private message with your Order ID so that our support team can assist you with this.

  • Just got my magic cable in the mail, super happy with it (had pretty low expectations)…. Wish I bought more…. Shipping was pretty fast as well.

    • After further use, the cable itself is really good (super stiff) but the connectors are terrible! To use the cable as per Kogans usage case I have had to wedge the phone between two objects to stop it from apply too much pressure to the connectors as I fear the self weight of my phone may break the connector from the large amount of horizontal play present when connected.

      • Hi GGF6T. Great that your cable arrived so quickly.
Sorry to hear that you're having some connection issues. Could we kindly ask that you send us a private message so that we can look into this a bit further with you?
        Thanks in advance.

  • OK I got the note 2 case, the way you charge your phone withe the battery case isn't what I expected but it's on the charge now so we will see how it goes.

The battery case has a small cable with a micro USB plug which you plug into your phones USB port.

Doesn't add to much weight like the zero lemon battery but will not last as long seeing as the battery is 3800mAh and the note 2 battery is 3100mAh,so in theory you have 6900mAh worth of battery power.

  • For anyone interested still the note 2 battery case does not have a 3800mAh battery the paper work in the packageing states its 32000mAh but i have opened mine up and its got 2600mAh printed on the battery itself.

so not a full charge but after a could of tests with phone on and minimal use you get around 40 to 50% charge with and output of 500mA.

im going to in the next few days purchase another case and parallel up the two batteries in the one case for a 5200mAh pack.

  • as of now the prices have gone up to $7 for the note 2 power case.
