KFC's 24 nuggets for $10 is back.
Mod update 13th Aug: The deal begun on the 11th of August (not 18th of August as originally posted), it appears to be available at all stores excluding Wollongong NSW.
It will be available until September the 7th (from KFC Facebook).
according to the website its already available https://kfc.com.au/menu/chicken/24-nuggets-for-10/ It doesn't say it starts on a certain date so therefore one could conclude its already started, a good way to argue with the staff to get it if they say the deal hasn't started yet.
It also says 'Not available in Wollongong' <why is that?? i mean i could understand if it was some backwoods place in the middle of nowhere maybe they don't want to pay to deliver it but its not that far from the city.

Pfft if you go the gong it isn't for KFC! Fish and chips on the beach. This is the thing i miss in 'lovely' Sydney. Not paying a fortune for horrible fish and chips and sharing a beach with 1000 people at times is not my idea of fun lol.
You are from Melbourne, enlighten me please as to how you even know the gong. Some people in Sydney don't. Lots of smaller suburbs make up Wollongong. Lots of Kfc's there. I know what you meant, i was teasing. It's ok, i am not normal(normal here is quite scary at times lol), a lil backwards is fine by me. :)

Not the best nuggets but for the price I will overlook the meat stretcher that is in there lol.
I don't eat Maccas if i can help it except coffee for convenience. Kids never ask for Kfc nuggets and will ask for Maccas ones every now n then. Maybe has something to do with their sweet n sour sauce. No good anywhere else. If you try, ask for FRESH ones. Doesn't mean you will get them however. Appears to LOOK like chicken breast in Maccas ones more also.
There is for sure crack in McD's sweet and sour sauce.

I thought you can get 5 nuggets for $2 at Hungry Jacks? So for $10 you get 25 as opposed to 24 with this deal. Or is the KFC nuggets more superior??

Do you get any sauce for free? If not anyone know how much they cost? Recommendations for sauce flavours?
I know I know, at home sauces - but that takes away some of the treat factor as I use those sauces (rooster/sriacha, smokey bbq) semi-reguarly on other things.
Yes, although the ticket mentions 4 sauces for 50c each (as per receipt: BBQ, Super Charged, Sweet Sour, Tomato), I received 3 (all but BBQ) and a deduction at the end of $2, keeping the total at $10.
Super Charged was great.
I couldn't really hear the drive-thru dude so maybe he asked and I said yes but they gave me 4 sweet and sour. Quickly ran back in and swapped 3 for super charged. Only needed two of them for all 20 nuggets. I'm pretty pleased with the deal, KFC is so hit and miss at the best of times. I think I got freshies cause there was a small queue of like 5 cars when I pulled up.
They gave me 4-5 sauces, was free :)

I've seen people eat tiny amounts of healthy food like salad and say they are full, but give them a bucket of greasy chicken they will finish the bucket.

its good when its busy because you get them nice and fresh and sometimes they offer you strips or popcorn chicken instead
I mean busy busy, as in the drive through had 10-15 cars lined up and walk in, there was a line literally all the way out the door.. Easily 30+ people.

Does 3 nuggets roughly equal a piece of chicken cause I used to go to KFC every Tuesday for the 9 pieces for $10. That used to last me a few days, I doubt 24 nuggets would last that long.
Use the app and get $1 chips with it, that'll make them last a little longer. Maybe 6 nuggets+$1 chips first meal then 9 nuggets for the next two meals.
Tried KFC nuggets on the weekend. Not too bad actually. A little bit on the oily side but that's to be expected since its deep fried.
I think HJ nuggets are better. KFC has a real 'pink slime' feeling while HJs actually tastes like white meat.
Still, $10 is cheap calories.

Went to WA WATERFORD KFC today and the staff told me that head office decided to finish the promotion early, so no more 10$ nuggets. Saaaaad!

Nuggets would generally be from Baiada (Steggles) or Ingham… just like most others.
You can buy 2 boxes of ingham nuggets, about 22 per pack for $10 and cook them in the oven.
$10 is too much for nuggets in this economy.
