So I have lost my Amaysim recharge voucher from Coles.
Is there anything I can do to retrieve it?
I did pay by credit card and all i have left of the receipt is 4c discount code for petrol.
I asked my wife today can i have the voucher I gave you to keep safe. She hands me the amaysim sim card which came as a part of the half price recharge deal. So the receipt is gone.
Any ideas welcome!!!
I always just take photos of all of the recharge vouchers I purchase before I even leave the store, which will then get uploaded and stored in my dropbox account once I reconnect to wifi.
I've gotten into the habit of doing that because of all the receipts I need for claiming work expenses back through my employer - I need to upload them electronically so I may as well just upload photos of receipts instead of scanning them.
I reckon COLES might be able to re-issue your receipt; particularly if you can remember approximately what time you made the purchase and from which register or auto-checkout thingy, can produce the credit-card used to pay, and it is in your name. Peeps do get receipts re-issued from time to time from vendors, for various purposes. If anyone will do it, COLES will; they're not exactly a penny-n-dime backyard operation!
Drop in there at some time when you know they're not going to be really busy (tonight/Friday night for example), be polite and be prepared to wait a few minutes, and explain to them that you need the receipt re-issued and why. I bet they will crash through for you.
Been there, done that, and no, they can't.
That's odd I reckon, because I had a receipt reissued for a gift card I bought that was not 'activated' properly, though that was from Woolies, not Coles. Give it a shot I reckon OP, and let us know how you go.
