JB HiFi Price Match... with eBay

I was searching the other night about whether JB HiFi would match an eBay price. I couldn't find anything other than one site saying NO.

I emailed JB HiFi and gave them their link and the link to the eBay store (it was a buy it now price with no postage and labelled a company).

I got a call less than 3 hours later saying my local store would agree to to the price…. though you would like to know.

It's hit and miss. You got lucky. They do not have an official price match policy.

IT was the MXL Tempo Microphone they have listed for $138 vs eBay store GadgetBliss for $99.

They still made money from your sale, so were happy to accommodate. If it resulted in selling at a loss, they would have denied the match.
