Can i buy and download a us game and play it on my Australian PSN account on the sale console?
what about playing online on my Australia PSN Account?
I know about thew DLC difficulty with AU game and us DLC or us game and AU DLC not working together.
Just wondering if there are any downsides to buying cheap us PSN games?
also is it possible to use a us psn account and play multiplayer with them and their AU PSN accounts.

so say i buy black ops 3 on US PSN as well as all DLC on their and play the game and dlcs on my AU account i wont get XP and go up prestige and such in game on THAT Australian PSN account?
or do you mean like double xp weekends?
DLC = maps = works on all accounts
DLC = special add-ons (like weapons / badges etc) = tie to the account you bought it.
that's what happened in COD:AW.

No downsides apart from Aussie Dollar going down thus making US Dollar games expensive.
you have to buy any DLCs for the game from US store only. so if you're thinking to get discounted deals for DLC from AU PSN or local store, you won't be able to play it.
You can't export the save files between different region. For example, if you bought LittleBigPlanet 1 or 2 on AU, you won't be able to export your profile when you buy LittleBigPlanet 3 on US.
buying the US PSN credit is also expensive because of extra seller fee and conversion rate, take them into consideration.
I still find buying everything from US store way cheaper.
If you buy the US PSN credit on amazon there's no extra seller fee.. Just conversion rate. Depending on our card might also be charged for international fee too… It is still cheaper than buying the games on AU PSN though despite the conversions…
yes, you can play with your AUS psn account with games bought from other region with other region psn account.
remember to set it as your primary console to each region for each of your psn account.
