Next to quantity, you'll see "More than 10 available / 217 sold"
Clicking on the '217 sold' takes you to that page

  • The petrol powered ones in this brand are ok.

    • The petrol powered ones in this brand are ok.

How can you say that when they change suppliers all the time, there is no quality control and there are no parts holdings. This is why their feedback is better than it should be, people leave feedback soon after it arrives before they have problems with the products/junk.

      • Having a good run with the 8hp petrol version last 3yrs and has not missed a beat. Wont outlast the 10 year old stihl but at a fraction of the cost I can use and throw.

The problem is that the quality of these machines varies with every shipment and even between units in the same batches. You've had a good run but plenty of others have not and have a pile of rubbish sitting in their garage. Most of the tools that AGR sell end up as landfill and many lack safety features and have poor design.

Not to mention the specifications are overstated on many of the tools. Far better to buy from a known manufacturer who has a reputation to protect instead of someone who buys the cheapest rubbish and sells it with a large profit margin and offers zero backup when parts or service are needed.

The changing of company names, brand names and so forth are their way of dealing with their poor reputation. AGR machinery is in every forum in Australia as rubbish so they change their name and once that new name is in every forum as rubbish they will just change their name again.

Look at all the posts on whirlpool alone about problems with every one of their products.

AGR Machinery sell utter rubbish with no support, little chance of obtaining warranty and they mislead through the use of phoney specifications and brand names that are meant to sound like other well known companies or as if their origin is from Germany.

I'm negging this deal as a bargain is not something that lasts for a short period and doesn't operate as it's advertised to.

Agreed - there is DEFINITELY no seller on Ebay that should be more avoided than this shonky company.

      Jet USA…
      Definitely German!

Nice attempt at misquoting me there. What did I actually say….

"brand names that are meant to sound like other well known companies or as if their origin is from Germany."

And what does the founder of this rubbish company say

"If you’re after a German-sounding chainsaw brand, David Mills is your man. He’ll sell you a 72cc Baumr-AG chainsaw for under $300 with free shipping. You could easily pay $100 more ($200 if you include postage) for an equivalent new Stihl model on eBay.

Of course, Baumr-AG is not German. The German-sounding hand tools all come with “Made in China” stickers on them. Baumr-AG is a brand name Mills created in 2008 to sell tools online. It works. Mills’s company, which started in 2006, pulled in $26 million last year.

“With chainsaws, people think Germany. We invented a German brand,” the 35-year-old managing director of Mills International Trading says."

The internals on these things are important. If it's not a brass pump, then good luck. 75% chance you've just lost your money (or you will, within 12 months)
