Not an expert on Kogan quality, but when you factor in the price of (http://www.gearbest.com/mobile-power-bank/pp_187685.html) in AUD and add shipping its not cheaper. Yet the quality i agree would be better. It would be harder to get a replacement if you did happen to get a lemon, just saying.

We've heard about Chinese mAh, and now we see Kogan mAh..

Never run out of battery on your tablet

I think Kogan is in it's own league now. 11000mAh = Infinite KoganmAh.

Bought the Kogan 10,400mAh power bank from a previous deal last year and it didn't hold its charge for very long (2-3 months) and started depleting really quickly. There were also issues with the charging port where you would have to hold up the cable whilst it was plugged into the port for the power bank to charge. To Kogan's credit, they sent 2 replacements when the original I bought and the 1st replacement didn't work as described. Will still avoid buying any Kogan branded power banks. The ROMOSS and Xiaomi power banks on the other hand are alot more reliable.

This. I have tried the low end power banks and they're pretty much a waste of money. Got 2x Xiaomi ones and use them multiple times per day for almost a year now and still really good. Only issue is the cable is becoming loose on the device and other devices.

  • I personally prefer ENB powerbanks where you can take out the individual 18650 Lithium Ion batteries and charge them separately.

    • Do they perform well though? Are they also a bit more expensive? I do like the ability to switch around the 18650 batteries which can go for all those larger Cree torches.

YES. I've tried all the various powerbanks and ENB are the best ones I've come across as they are relatively efficient and don't cause fires if you put the batteries in the wrong way! VERY IMPORTANT.

It is more expensive but you can take the 18650 batteries out and charge individually so yeah, good for your torches. have a look at fasttech.com and search for ENB. They have ones that come in 2, 3 or 4 battery capacities.

Sorry OP but Xiaomi and the like are cheaper to buy and better known for quality.
Kogan however is known for "cheap" but get what you pay for electronics
