Like a true ozbargainer, I held out this long to wait for discounts to be released for Les Mis. Temptation got to me, and I turned my back on my ozbargaining ways, and finally bought tickets about 2 weeks ago. The ozbargain gods saw my sins, and decided to punish me with this.

I got an email to day regarding discount Les Mis tickets, starting at $75. These are most likely matinee tickets, but there are still discounts for all sessions, excluding Saturday evenings performances. This discount is valid on performances from 5th - 30 August.

  The link just redirected me to the ticketmaster website. Tickets start from $60 for stalls, underneath the dress circle overhang - that was Thursday evening, but a Wednesday matinee can be had for $55.

  Seems like a sweet deal.

  Just punching in random dates… Tix can still be had for $60 for a Sat evening.

        i'm there, when you hover over the sections on the unzoomed map it says the tickets range from $45-200.. but when you actually select a seat, the price is $135-150…

    But those seats are in the back rows, rather pay $25 more and get front row seats.

  If you're willing to take a risk and don't mind where you're seated, you can buy the tickets at the gate for 1/2 price or even less (if there are still available, hence "risk"). You save on the unreasonable booking fees as well. This is why when I booked online, I specifically asked for ticket pickup at the booth, instead of printing tickets myself. Hey, they have to earn those booking fees.

  Have seen about 5 musicals in the last 2 years and this was the absolute best. Great Deal if you are in to this type of thing.

  They are doing Rush tix for every performance now, 3 hours before curtain for $45 each. If you go mid week and check availability before turning up you can't go wrong!

  Definitely recommend seeing Les Mis. I've seen the current production twice in Melbourne and thoroughly enjoyed both times. In fact I have seen it over six times over the years (my wife 10 times).

  For people who have never seen it before then try to get a slightly better seat. For the 'old hands', just grab any seat and enjoy the music.
