    They look great fun but 10-12 minutes of flight time is what kills it for me.

    The build is very flimsy. Not worth the $1499 initially priced. At that price, a DJI Phantom would be way more worth it. At $999, nah, I'll pass. I rather pay more for something more professional. This feels so much like a toy.

      I've flown a friend's Phantom and it was absolutely amazing. So smooth and controllable! All the reviews for most other drones on YouTube don't appear to come close to DJI's controllability.

    Not at this price way to dear for what u get buy a cheerson cx20?gps return to home over a kilometer range love mine awesome quad can pick them up around 400 Aussie stock way better

      How did you achieve 1km range? Must have modded yours right? Advertised range for CX-20 is about 300m.
      I just spent around $460 yesterday ordering one plus some accessories from Gearbest yesterday. Should be a step up from my current Syma X5C-1.

    My brother in law has one. bought it to check cattle. I've flown it and found it to be responsive, fast and easy to control.

    the drone has a return to base function with GPS.

    have a look at the manual here

    this has been the only drone that I've flown so I can't compare it to anything else.

    The RRP in AU is $1,499 for this model is well above the US RRP of $499 taking into account the exchange rate.

    When you compare HD footage from this to the DJI there is no comparison - the DJI kills it. For $1000+ I'd want smooth stabilised HD video but the smoothness and control of the DJI is just not present in the Bebop.

    I noticed that the email says $500 off the ticketed price. I imagine most stores would be ticketed at the full RRP however.
