I don't always buy monster cables, but when I do, they are for less than $10.
Just came across and bought this cable at HN (Garden City) for $8. There are other offers like micro usb cables, audio splitters…. Etc…. all ranging from $5-10.
Lightning cables are generally pretty expensive and non branded ones may ruin your device (happened to my iPad). So I think this might be a pretty good deal.
No idea when the offer started or will end.

Of course I meant for price matching at a Sydney NSW store. The item code does not help with that. Checking the Item Code would just bring up a price of $37.95

Well at first, after my genuine cable broke, I started to use a cheap cable I got somewhere for a dollar or so. A few weeks in I noticed that the battery life of the ipad even on standby decreased by quite a bit. I did not realise back then that the cable might have caused this. Couple of days later and it stopped charging all together. Eventually, after it ran out of battery, I couldn't turn it back on anymore even after I finally decided to buy a new genuine cable to try and charge it back to life.
So I took it back to the Apple store and they replaced it free of charge for me, telling me to not use a dodgy charger again.
Same thing happened to my iPad, we have been using $20 cables from coles, now it only charges when switched off
Their charging units are fair dinkum a disgrace .. You end up having to replace the damn things every so often. Maybe that's the whole point $$$$$
All gone now.
