  • Shipping would be over $100 US.

  • and $100 postage, then convert to Australian dollars.

  • and doesn't support all 3D contents

    • Why on earth would you need 3d on a data projector?

  • +1

Yeah, it's cheap, but 1024x768 is well below HD. Not even 720p (1280x720).

If you want to get this shipped to Aus, you're close to $500 already, and there are similar projectors at Officeworks in that price range with full local warranty.

  • inFocus used to be an expensive brand that were typically used commercially for meeting room projectors.
The fatc that it has 3000 lumen output means youy can show it in a brightly lit room with no problem.
That being said, if you're after a HD projector it's probably the wrong place to be looking.

So this seems quite cheap to me (not that I have current knowledge of that market of course)

  • The best thing about this projector is that it's an ultra short throw. I have a normal short throw which means it only has to sit about 1m from the screen. I'm guessing that this ultra throw would be able to sit even closer. Some ultra short throws can project an image from a foot away. So that's the big reason why you'd get this projector. 20W speakers aren't bad either. Mine have 10W and they can fill an average size room.

But if space isn't an issue and you'd be connecting it to a home theatre, as others have noted, there would be better projectors for the same price, particularly when you factor in shipping.

    Hope this helps.
