I've always planned to buy some eneloops and a charger but always thought, hey I have a stack of 50 AAs in the drawer surely that will last me forever… It didn't and now I'm out but as my luck would have it there are no eneloop sales posted on OZBargain :( I probably only need a pack of AAs and AAAs with some spares for when they die, oh and a charger.
Where do I start?

Actually it looks like it's the BQ-CC18, I was hoping for the BQ-CC16 or BQ-CC17 for individual cell charging :( Good price though.

There is nothing wrong with the Aldi lsd rechargeables also if you can't wait for an Eneloop deal.

Eneloops aren't what they used to be. Most are now made in China just Aldi rechargeables.
That is a good price. Do they sell a charger at Aldi also, I vaguely remember that they used to? Is their charger a 'smart' charger similar to the eneloop?
Might seem like a stupid question. Do you need a Eneloop charger to recharge Eneloops or can you use a regular NiMH charger?
No, you don't need an Eneloop branded charger.
