Recommended Insurance for a P Plater (P2)

Hello!

Just purchased my self a Mazda 5D hatchback and seeking what insurance company people recommend?

Am located in Vic and under 25 years old on P2 licence.

Any thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated (Y)

What's the market value on the car?
Which year?

Are your parents with any insurance company for car or home?

  Mazda 626 model 1999, $4500 Market Value.
  
  Not sure don't live with the parents don't think they have either anyway.
  
  I did get a quote from Budget Direct:
  
  Comprehensive 680 Annually.
  Basic Excess:$700
  
  Additional excesses
  In respect of claims for window glass only:$600
  Drivers between the age of 21 and 24.$500
  Drivers who have held a full Australian licence for less than two years.$400
  
  TP only $390 Annually same excess as above.
  
  Given the car most likely just going to pursue TP only insurance

I recommend getting an online quote with RAC, they are quite cheap at the moment.
