iPhone / iPad Lightning Cable $14.95 (RRP $29.95 50% off). 2 Year Warranty @ republikgroup eBay

00

We are selling some of these CMI Accessories iPhone / iPad data charging cables on eBay for $14.95 (50% off the RRP$29.95) including postage Australia wide. We bought these in bulk from CMI in Queensland to use in the office. I know you can get much cheaper ones on eBay, which is what we normally did. The cheapies would fail and we would just keep buying more. Some would work then just stop. Some would cause an error message to constantly appear and disappear on our iPhones. Other cables would fray or just break. These CMI ones have a 2 year warranty so we tried some and they have been great. Not for everyone, as some people prefer to just keep replacing the cheap ones as they fail, or put up with the error message. We use them everyday so the better quality suits us.

EDIT: These are MFI Certified

    is it even MFI certified?

    • Sorry forgot to mention, yes it is MFI certified

    • $9.99 for MFI certified cables in a deal earlier today - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/204955

      • Thanks, but damn I sorely missed out!

  • So where do I send the item
when if it fails on June 2017?
    How does warranty work?

    • Straight to CMI Accessories in QLD:
Unit 4/31-33 Dover Drive, Burleigh Heads Queensland 4220
      Warranty info: http://www.cmiaccessories.com.au/page-consumer-warranty-5.as…

this is illegal as the seller you MUST take care of the warranty, unless the consumer contacts CMI and they are happy to deal with them…

        • I was answering "where do I send the item" which is CMI, and I linked to their warranty conditions.
You would need to let us know as well

        • as the seller you MUST take care of the warranty

          That is definitely true

        • @smasher:
the buyer would send it to you, unless your out of business by then and you would process as a warranty claim

        • @tuzii: Yes. As we have dealt with CMI for a while, they do often accept the item directly from our customer to save time, with our prior approval.

if you apple genuine and are happy to buy 10:

  • you can get a pair of MFI certified cables at BigW cheaper…

    • can you please provide the link for this.

        • Thanks for the link. Has anyone used the BigW ones? The packaging doesn't fill me with awe.

        • @try2bhelpful:

Has anyone used the BigW ones?

Yep, I've been using mine since Xmas… They are great… Never had a problem with them or any pop-up messages. Using them for iphone 5S and iPad Air 2.

There is a choice of colours, and they are 1.2 metres long.

I got sick of the ebay ones failing, so gave these a try and no regrets…

The packaging doesn't fill me with awe.

          I threw the packaging out…

  • Probably cheaper than AmazonBasics/Anker cables now that the AUD is so low compared to the USD.

  • Groupon are selling authentic ones for $12.50

    • Tikbro are selling genuinely certified ones for $9.99

  • Save your time and trouble with all of this small retailer, just get the cable from DSE or BIGW for as little as $9.99 to $19.95, as you can always claim for a new replacement under the warranty. I have done it 3 times with mine as the cable "neck" is prone to bent and break.
