Monitored Alarm Service in Melbourne

Hi All

I am looking for a back-to-base alarm monitoring service in Melbourne.

I already have monitored alarm installed. My current contract is due to expire soon.

I would appreciate if I could get the names of the security company, the prices, details like contract length and switching fees etc.

I am currently with ADT, with whom I am paying an arm and both legs. A price I paid due to my failure to do research before I signed the contract.

Some of the offers I have got is RACV and Signal Security.

It would be helpful, if I could be directed to any forums on the matter.

My monitored alarm is with Mr Alarms. I'm in Brisbane, although I believe they cover all metropolitan areas in Aus.

Just for information if anyone is ever looking for one.

Got my current provider ADT to price match another service provider. The new price is $22 a month and no contract. Or $22 a month for three years contract, no price rise.

The cheapest I saw was $20 per month no contract, but not sure of the reliability. There was one more at $22 for 24 month contract, two at $22.83 no contract (these two seemed to be pretty reliable).

If anyone is looking for monitored alarm, I could post the names of the service providers. I am feeling lazy to go through all the research paper. If not required why bother.
