  • Do Bangggood sell original stuff? Not trying to be negative, just unsure about these Chinese sites.

    • +2

I think they do. You can check the reviews in-site and previous ozbargain posts.

all the stuff that I've been getting from them are genuine.
this includes XiaoMi power banks and Nitecore torches (and other torches)
I've also started getting some other hobby toys which are all genuine. (brand new, no scratches etc)

the only thing with these retailers located in China is that although delivery is included, it often takes 3 to 4 weeks for them to arrive, at times it's taken 5 to 6 weeks.

my advice is, buy stuff from any overseas retailers if you know you're not going to be needing it in the next month or so. or you can obviously pay for delivery and have it sent much much quicker…

otherwise buy from local retailers and get what you want now. (and pay a sxxt load more)

and don't forget that our lovely government may potentially introduce taxes later this year or early next year

      • Agree with PavloXYZ. I got a Xiaomi powerbank from banggood and it is genuine. They are good in responsible too as I made a claim to my nitecore charger due to not working display and they sent me a new one which I will say excellent service. The only deal breaker is a long wait but this is normal if you order things from China.

  • How long would i be realistically be waiting for one of these (or any Banggood stuff) to arrive?

    • I ordered one on 27th June. Still waiting…

      • Well downside of free shipping i guess. Shoulda ordered one earlier myself. planning to go OS.. ah well..:/

      • yep, it's taken more than a month for me at times… but still ended up getting it though…

    • My only experience with Banggood took about 6 weeks to deliver. Seems consistent with other people's comments.

      2 weeks.

      location: perth, wa

      • 2-3weeks for me..sydney

    • ordered Jun 29th, received today.

    • Ordered a little flashlight on the 12th of July, arrived 23rd. Ordered some flashlight grease on the 13th, still hasn't arrived. I usually allow a month.

  • can you charge an ipad with one of these for a long plane trip?

    • yes.

  • ahhhhh Dropshipping at work here peoples! don't hold your breathe for <3weeks delivery!

  • Banggood sells authentic xiaomi products…I have bought a couple of items from them and the security code checks out as genuine on the xiaomi website.

The only issue is it takes a few weeks to deliver

  • good

  • Are the delivery times with Banggood that bad? I wish I had known this before I ordered something last week.

Is the delay in that it is in 'processing' for awhile or the delay once the status has been changed to 'shipped?' Because mine days it was shipped on Friday 24/7.

    • send them an email if you're not sure, i usually get a reply within the next 24 hours (or next business day), the staff there are surprisingly helpful with me enquirers.

  • 10000mAh or 10400mAh? which one is better? why there is a big cost difference?

    • The 10000 is significantly smaller than the original 10400.

      • +1

the old one used 4x 18650 batteries inside to get 10400mah. (2600mah each)
this new one only uses 3 and promises 10000mah.
and their 16000mah one uses 5x 18650 cells.

The old 10400 ones used samsung/lg 2600 cells
new ones use panasonic/lg 3200 cells.

you can find reviews on the pro/s cons of the 2 types as I believe its not a linear difference between 3200/2600.

You can also get an idea of size with this.
eg. this new one is 3x batteries wide/ old 10400 one is 4 wide.
the 1600 one actually wastes a bit of space as it stacks 3x2 but leaves one space empty as it only has 5 batteries in it.

        • Very nice review. Thanks!

        • Waiting for a refresh of the 16000mah one :)

  • I have a genuine one from Banggood. Got a fake one from Tmart.

    • How do you tell?

  • Has anyone paid for the Air Parcel Register? Does this (hopefully) reduce the shipping time?
