Telstra Prepaid Starter Kit Invalid ! What Should I do???

I got 2 Telstra Prepaid Starter Kit expiring on 26 JUL 2015 which is tomorrow

Tried to activate today and both of them NOT WORKING saying its INVALID !

Brought to store and they said they cant do anything there and ask me to call the Phone Service

Called the phone service and the staff said they have nothing to do with it either and asked me to bring back and return to the place where I purchased.

and the question is, I had no idea where I bought it and lost the receipt already… and even I have the receipt and remember where I purchased, I dont think the store will accept returning products 1-1.5 years ago

What Should I Do Now?????????????????????????

    Tomorrow try going to a Telstra Store together with both of the SIM modules and any packaging they came with and ask for assistance… take whatever ID is req. to activate and see what they can do.

    Look for a Store that is open (maybe 11AM-4PM?)

    Is it $2 sim card? If its the $2 im happy to give you $2 and stop crying.

        • I couldn't even remember when did I purchase it, most likely end of 2013 - start of 2014

        Did you mean scam? Even then, not a scam.

  • So let me get this straight… You bought 2 sim cards probably almost 2 years ago, now you have gotten around to activating them but they aren't working…

    I'm gonna say tough s*** Tomorrow is a Sunday meaning very few telstra stores are open and the fact is that you have left it to the very last minute… I'm not sure I understand why the store couldn't help.

    However if you can provide a screenshot of what actually happens when you try and activate the card online I can try and understand further.

  • Try ringing again to another Rep at Telstra or going to different store. It may work.
    I bought a Optus prepaid handset(Moto Defy Mini) for $18 on clearance with $30 included sim for NetFlix. The sim was expired months ago. Initially Optus team asked me to return the handset back. I tried different Optus reps at different times and one of the supervisor Rep agreed to replace the sim and gave me credit also.
    Mine situation was different that I had a receipt and I called Optus within a week.

  • Really pissed off , went to another store and tried making few calls and all with same answer…. Can't do anything and ask me to buy another starter kit
