    Guess it's about paying for convenience….shipping from aus vs china.
    Plus people assume if it's on groupon, it's a great deal. Not everyone knows about aliexpress.

    Normally I'd agree but on this one Groupon says ships in 3 weeks and my stuff normally takes 2 - 4 weeks from Aliexpress.

    Meh, it's all about shopping around.
    I bought a chair for 8.99 in a shopping centre. In a different shop, in the same centre, on the same level they were selling for 18.99 (exact same chair).
