Hi

I am looking to buy Kingston 4GB or 8GB DDR3L 1600MHz SODIMM Memory 1.35v (Low Voltage) KVR16LS11⁄4or8 for my Toshiba Satellite C50A-X0011 laptop.

Type: DDR3L

Frequency: 1600MHz ⁄ PC3L-12800

Memory Frequency: 1600 MHz

Combination Form: Single

Form Factor: SODIMM

May I know where can I get it for real cheap in Melbourne? I have checked MSY and their price is A$37 for 4GB and A$66 for 8GB. Are these lowest prices for RAM?

If anyone has the unused RAM "Pulled Out from laptop", kindly let me know.

    Among 2 slots, one is used for 4GB. Is it possible to add 8GB in another slot? I thought it should be combination of 2X2 or 4X4.

    Correct me if i am wrong.

      I think it would be better to match the slots.That model can go up to 16GB.MSY will be your best bet.

        Not necessarily. Technically speaking, there are only very specific times you need to match RAM card size, that's usually dependent upon memory channels utilised by your PC.
        You can use any variation that fits up to the max. your device supports (be aware that many noteboks can be limited to total RAM of 4GB or 8GB).
        MSY tend to be about the cheapest or for better service you can use Umart. Try staticice.com.au for price comparo.
