What wheel dimension for Camry

I am driving a 2010 Toyota Camry and my tyres are pretty much at the end. Now I am thinking to get new rims and tyres that are a bit bigger. Is there anywhere a list where I can check what is allowed?

My choice would be 215/225 45 17/18

You could use a tyre size calculator, and compare different sizes to your existing setup.
    Tire Size Calculator.

Also check the tyre placard, which may include larger sizes.

All what is allowed is written in your user manual and on the door (frame) / glovebox sticker.

17/18 inch will ruin soft ride of Camry with no added steering benefits. It will mutate from soft&comfy fridge on wheels to harsh&noisy fridge on big expensive wheels.

  • Depends on what's on it now …you can only go 2" bigger than original.imo 17" are the go as 235/45 tyres are fairly cheap.

  • Hey dosada !

I have a set of factory 17 x 7 alloys (5 wheels in total) in very good condition.
They will fit your Camry perfectly. Comes with all nuts and centre caps, no tyres.

    What city you in ?

    Cheers

    • Hi, i am in Point Cook, Victoria

  • Thanks for the responses. Where i used to live there have been exact rules what is allowed and i assumed it would be the same here.

ie there was maybe 195/50/15 allowed but 195/45/* not. Happy that this is not that extremely strict here
