I need to get 3 Taylor Swift tickets and the only ones left are not seated together. Is it safe to buy tickets off Ticketmaster? I would probably be happy with actual printed tickets on Ebay/Gumtree but what is the deal with the Ticketmaster PDF tickets? Couldn't they resold many times over? T&Cs on Tickemaster say "Subject to the applicable ticket, promoter/producer and venue terms and conditions, if a ticket You purchase via the Website does not give You entrance to the applicable event, We will refund 100% of the purchase price You paid for that ticket as part of our Ticketmaster Guarantee" however I would hate to rock up and find they were invalid. I over promised on this to my daughter not knowing they would all be pretty much sold out and need to deliver on this. Any advice appreciated.

Ebay has some reputable scalpers (an oxymoron), just choose someone with heaps of feedback
I've found with these types of concerts if you wait til the day of or close to the concert, a lot of the scalpers offload their tickets at or below cost as they've already made there money one people who have overpaid.
Ticketmaster Resale is safe as Ticketmaster itself acts as an agent in the transaction. They state that:
"*All tickets on Ticketmaster Resale are listed by sellers at prices they set. All purchases are 100% backed by the Ticketmaster Guarantee *"
However, 3 tickets together for the November Sydney Show = ~$450. I've used the Ticketmaster resale system before in the United States and ran into no problems. But you're right, there's nothing stopping somebody selling copies of their tickets on Gumtree, Ticketmaster Resale and eBay to 3 different parties.
If you claimed the guarantee, Ticketmaster would probably investigate the reseller's actions — but this doesn't help your daughter go to see Taylor. My advice? If you really need to get your girl to Taylor — Ticketmaster Resale it and bite the $450 bullet.
Have you tried seeing if there is tickets on the ticketmaster resale?
That would be one way to guarantee that you are not ripped off but the tickets will be more expensive.
I'm not sure if Taylor Swift has hardcopy tickets that were sold. But you are going to buy off Gumtree these tickets are safer than the pdf ones.
