I'm starting a hobby on woodworking, however it seems that great bargain is hard to find on quality power tools.
As a true Ozbargainer I feel uneasy paying full retail price (i.e. Bunnings) before exhausting all options available.
My current shopping list is:
- 1 x table saw
- 1 x thicknesser
- 1 x mitre compound saw
Buying power tools from US can be significantly cheaper, however the voltage difference (110V vs 240V) makes it impractical and therefore out of question.
Looking around the net, it seems that the prices are all around the same - or maybe I haven't looked in the right place.
Not much choices too in 2nd hands.
Any fellow woodworkers/chippies out there can give me some pointer?
