  • Accidentally unlocked them all?

  • Interesting. I can confirm once installed if you click on the season 4 or pervious seasons link in the menu it says "All currently available tables purchased"

  • Deleted my stupid comment

    • Its a free client but the season 1-4 cost $$. This is my understanding
      Seasons are $45 each

  • Anyone manage to get it to download tables??? I think its glitched out :-(

How is pinball in 1080p anyway?

      It's amazing at 60fps - that shiny ball… wow!

      (yes, i'm being sarcastic)

  • First it adds a 2Gb Game download and 1.182Gb Update, then the 2Gb download changes into 365Mb. The 1.182Gb Update File is still downloading but a new file called Application Data (that's another 2.278Gb) has just added itself to my download list.

No idea if it's worked or what it's giving me… will update post when I know!

The Update File installed, now the Application Data is showing that it's downloading a total of 3.459Gb… that's a lot for a Pinball game!

    • It appears to give you all of the tables from Seasons 1-4 and the trophies pop for the add-on tables, but it doesn't show them as being "purchased" on the PSN Store which probably means if we delete the game, there's no way to get the tables back. Must be a glitch which they'll no doubt fix, so grab it while you can.

Zen Pinball 2 has much better graphics/gameplay, but hey, can't complain for free. Thanks OP!

  • Is this for the U.S. or Australian store?

    • AU Store - just click the link in the deal and "buy" the game using the PC Webstore, then hit Download to your PS4.

The glitch was posted on various trophy sites. It unlocked all 59 tables along with Pro features.

      Perhaps they've fixed it?

      • Thanks mate. Tables aren't unlocked after downloading. Think they've fixed the patch

  • This didn't work for me. The tables were not unlocked after downloading the game and the 2GB update.

I have the US disc version. I downloaded all updates bar the last one (as it popped later), and all tables are unlocked. I noticed it doesn't authorise your current PSN username when loading though, so previous progress isn't recorded.

I'm guessing the latest update that's downloading now will scupper the free tables thing.

No trophies popped, but I had most of them anyway. Speaking of which, these guys stuffed up royally, apparently expending all their trophy allowance (Sony limit these things) on the first set of tables, so later packs have no trophies. Well, the story goes something like that. :)

    • …and now that the update has installed, I'm authorised (to play a game I bought, how generous) then the 'Connecting' screen flashes up before going to black - and staying there. At least I can listen to Pinball Wizard while wishing I was actually playing…

      Yes, I'm being sarcastic. >;(

This Farsight mob really doesn't seem to have much idea what they're doing. If only the brilliant Zen people had these licences.

I got that too. If you close the game and relaunch it, it should work (eventually).

If you still get the black screen with music playing, turn your modem/router off and play the game offline.

It does "authorise" you when you launch the game, but I have no idea what that actually does. I've disabled automatic updates so if there is a patch and I play the game, hopefully i'm quick enough to stop it from downloading/installing.

It's probably safer to play this game offline (just turn your modem/router off). That way it won't try to update or connect to the game's servers.

I've got 24% of the trophies on it so far - and even though it was free, it'll be slightly irritating not being able to try get a few more!

They definitely screwed up big time by unlocking all 59 tables, pro upgrades and custom balls. While Sony does have a limit on trophies, the devs screwed up by having 11 packs, rather than adding additional trophies into the core game's list (which they could still do). Look at Sound Shapes (how I hate you death mode!). That's got so many trophies spread out amongst the core game and packs.

        • Never managed to get it to launch properly while online, despite innumerable attempts.

Turned off internet and it boots OK, but none of the tables I've bought other than those on the disc are down as being owned, and all my hard-fought high scores are gone - as are in-game achievements.

I won't be buying anything more by these clowns, that's for sure!

(Agree re: Sound Shapes, too… ;))
