Anyone here that does woodwork - could you please have a look at this video from about 3:27 - and suggest how those CNC-cutouts stick to the walls!?
Woodwork - Simple Question for Anyone That Does Woodwork

Glue the outlines in place while the pieces are removed. They will then slot into the gaps. PVA wood glue is stronger than timber in a close joint, so nothing will move the outlines.
The CNC machine cuts with a very fine kerf so the puzzle pieces don't have much wiggle room to slip out.Hm… Ok, thanks. I viewed it a dozen times trying to see any velcro, magnets, etc.
mskeggs… When you say kerf, do you mean the edges are not cut at 90 degrees, but slightly off-angle? (So the outer face is a few mm larger than the hidden face?)
It's just that in the comments below the video, they say something about 5mm 'shadow lines' - and I wasn't sure if they meant the outline is drawn on the wall piece - or - if 5mm of wood is removed all the way around the removable pieces. It's a kids' treehouse - and they look they would fall out with kids jumping around, moving it at least a little in the tree. :-)

No, hes just saying the "blade" width needs to be small. Keep in mind if you use a 5mm cutting blade, the gap between the pieces and the top will be 10mm (because the it will rest on the bottom.
I've heard of people cutting the shapes on a serperate piece to reduce the tolerances and use a better cutting head.
You could also use paint, or an iron on an edge to make up the gap.
5mm? Thats huge.
I don't think it's that big if you're using a large CNC machine and you're trying to do it in one pass
It was probably done from two pieces of wood, the wall piece had the holes cut out of it.
Then the slot in pieces made from separate pieces of wood for a tighter fit.
