Tonight Geekbuying has decided to offer 2 very special bundle deals for the popular Qualcomm Certified Quick Charge 2.0 devices after the success of the previous deals.

  • The first bundle has the Tronsmart 4 Port USB Car Charger with Tronsmart Quick Charge 2.0 18W AC Charger for $21.99 USD delivered.

  • And the second bundle has the Tronsmart Port USB Car Charger with the Tronsmart Quick Charge 2.0 54W 5 Ports USB Charger for $34.99 USD delivered.

Both bundles will come with an AU adapter and the 5-port charger can be used with a similar cable to this.

With the Qualcomm Quick Charge technology, tests have shown that a 3300mAh battery can be charged from 0% to 60% in only 30 minutes! The Quick Charge port is also backwards compatiable with any devices that do not support the technology and has 3 VoltIQ USB ports which are able to detect the charging protocol used in your device to provide the fastest possible charge without the risk of overcharging, short circuiting etc. More information on the Quick Charge technology can be found here.

Some of the Quick Charge 2.0 Compatible models include:

  • Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Samsung GALAXY Note Edge
  • LG G4, LG G Flex2
  • HTC One M9, HTC One M8, HTC One mini

      • Hi Clear, Do you know when the R68 boxes are due to be shipped from that last deal?

        • +1

If you were on the first 500 then it should be very soon, otherwise it'll be after Aug 1.

I already bought 2 of the tronsmart car chargers from you, any chance you can do a good deal on a ac charger on its own?

They work great in the car so I would like to try the AC version. I would buy a 2 x AC bundle if it needs to be a bundle.

    • +2

I'll see what I can do.

      • Thank you

        • I was thinking of doing a deal on just the 5-port charger. Would you prefer that or just the 1-port AC charger?

        • @Clear: Either is great! Thanks

        • @daveaus: I'll see if I can do a deal tonight.

        • @daveaus: Turns out I can't tonight, but I'll push for it to be this weekend at least.

I bought two last time as well - would also be interested in an AC only sale.

Additionally, the spring in the end of my car charger is very firm and makes the device fall out very easily, is it supposed to be like that?

  • i bought the 5 port chargers but older model without quick charging thingie.

only usd19.99 delivered, but now more expensive

  • Correct me if I'm wrong but the car charger is not a quick charger because it's only 5V/2.4A (according to specs), but the AC powered ones are because they support the 9V/2A and 12V/1.5A.

    • They both utilise Qualcomm's Quick Charge 2.0 technology. See the article linked in the post for more information about it.

    • I would like this too please - a 5 port AC charger with a 2 port car charger.

      Thanks!

      • I'm waiting for a coupon to be sent to me, so I can post a deal on that.

  • Rep, I'd like the bundle that ben1680 suggested too!

  • Any luck with my request Clear ?

  • Do the car chargers in this deal support QC 2.0? The links and description only say VoltIQ.

Can you please clarify here or on your bundle listing. Thanks.

    • Both my post and the title/images on the product page says they support QC 2.0.

      • That's for the mains charger. tripax was asking about the TS-CC4P1 car charger. It doesn't look like it supports QC according to the product page

        This one does.

        • +1

Sorry I had a derp moment.

  • Any reason the 5 port charger is not on the updated certified device list: https://www.qualcomm.com/documents/quick-charge-device-list ?

    • That was last updated in May and this was released in June.

      • Two problems:

        1. The car charger I received was not quickcharge 2.0. (As stated in the post title and confirmed in the comments section)
        2. It short-circuited itself in less than one day and now my entire car smells like burnt circuit board.
        • Email [email protected] and they'll sort it out.

        • @Clear:
It's been two days with no response. Are you able to get them to ship the proper car charger as a replacement?

        • @kiwizz: Not uncommon for a response to take up to 3 days. Send me your order number and I'll ask them to look.
