Tagged as $44, scanned as $45, but I didn't bust their balls about it - just happy my trade card worked on the special price.
To get the trade card you need to sign up & have an ABN for 5% off store wide.
The drill has all the good bits of the expensive brand hammer drills just at a fraction of the cost - comes with Masters 12 months home warranty. I burnt out my previous 500watt $19 chepo drill mixing tile adhesive - this bad boy should handle it.
About 5 or so in stock. Hidden on an end in the centre aisle of the store - nowhere near the power tool section.
Hammer, 850watt motor, 2 speed gearbox, 13mm metal keyless chuck, variable speed & reverse, lock on button, soft case, grip and useless depth gauge.
What got my attention (apart from price) was the 13mm metal keyless chuck and slightly larger than most motor.
It's a bit heavy and I wonder if the cast metal casing would crack if I dropped it. But I guess you will make your own mind up if you buy.
Also - One of the staff members at Masters Richalnds told me they are unofficially trying to clear their 909 stock to make way for the new Triton brand tools. Been to a few different stores and they seem to be clearing a line at a time. So keep an eye out but make sure you cross check the price between stores. They don't have standard pricing like Bunnings usually have.
Seems like a decent deal, though I wouldn't personally buy 909.
Side note whine; Sfield store is absolutely disgraceful when it comes to out of stock items. I've never struck a retailer like them. Never visited any other masters, but if they're all alike it's no wonder they're not going great. Just tonight I was there, and again, out of stock on an item I was chasing, even though I was told there were 10+
Can't wait till the next door hardware opens.
Couldn't help having a sook, geographic prompted it.
As you were.
