Mobile Broadband Suggestions

Hi,

I'll be travelling to Sydney for a short holiday for about a week in Mid August. I've found the perfect accomodation on Airbnb, only downside being it not having any WIFI. I'll be there for 7 days, and would still need to use the internet quite extensively at night to catch up on work related stuff etc.

Could you fellow Ozbargainers recommend me a suitable and cost effective mobile broadband solution?

    How much data do you need?
    if 1GB is enough each day then use Optus $2 days which for $2 you get unlimited calls and text for $2 then if you go over the 500mb they take another $2 for a max of 1GB for that day. it resets at midnight.

    So it's really $4 each day for 1GB data plus calls and text which probs wont be used.

        Looks good but i dont know if 5gb would be enough for two people.
        buy that and a $2 optus sim card and use it after that 5gb is used for $2 days.
        would have to change the apn on that wifi modem though to the normal APN with is preconnect i think but will work fine.
