Apple Au store has now made available the iPad Air 2 WiFi only and WiFi+Cellular models on refurbished store. It offers very good price and comes with regular Apple warranties that are normally associated with any Apple products. I have purchased various refurbished Apple products and they all are performing great. Personally, I would recommend refurbished products, since they come with regular Apple support and lower prices.

Apple refurbished are like new (if not new!) They come with the same Apple warranty!

See here, they've been available new from OW @ $564 this month. Dick Smith regularly have 10-15% off iPads, as do David Jones, both of which can be price matched at OW for an additional 5%.
You can buy grey stock for <$550 and Apple will honour warranty internationally for non-cellular products. Love Apple refurbs but this isn't a bargain, sorry mate.

The air 2 doesn't come in a 32gb model. 16gb model for $529. That doesn't seem cheap for refurbished? Apple refurbished are like new though.
