Seems it only lasts 2.5 years… but only has a 2 year warranty.

Hi wikiwiki, we have been selling the item for a number of years and have had no reported fault from Philips. If there is any doubt upon return of the item we would be happy to refund our customers the items purchase price if something happened 2.5 years down the track.

      • 2.5yrs warranty by the rep! sounds good to me

  • What's the real* difference between this and a KMart $39 iron?
(* not really interested in the highlights on the box like, "auto turn off switch" :)

    • Had one for a month or two now.
Basically it's a constant steam flow which seems to remove creases a lot more effectively.
You essentially iron just one side of the clothing.

  • If people are happy to live with a 1 year warranty there is a Breville Kambrook Philips Factory Outlet in Smith St Fitzroy that usually sells old stock and reconditioned appliances for cheaper prices; including some types of steam station irons at times. (Would need to check stock availability and price).
