Wasn't going to post it but may benefit someone if they have a friend joining Vodafone by 27 July, possible if you know someone who just joined recently you could argue you didn't know about this & ask voda to honor it, few catches read below:

You could earn up to 3GB extra data every month for 12 months.
Loving your Vodafone experience? Don’t keep it to yourself. If you’re on one of our 12 or 24 month plans, encourage a friend who’s not on Vodafone to also sign up for a 12 or 24 month plan, and you both could score an extra 1GB of data every month for up to 12 months. Get more friends on board, and you could score an extra 1GB per friend every month for 12 months, capped at 3GB per month.

How to redeem your extra data.
If you’re an existing Vodafone customer with a 12 or 24 month voice plan, get a friend to join Vodafone on a 12 or 24 month voice plan, then you and your friend fill out your details below by 27 July 2015.

  The Vodafone network is surprisingly good nowadays. 4G is blazingly fast compared to Telstra and Optus in Perth from what I have seen. Good reminder to those wanting to get this benefit that before you PM someone, you need to have already signed up to Vodafone and received your mobile number. Also prepaid plans don't count, so don't message people if you are still on prepaid with your $5 starter sim :)

  Yup I agree I was with Optus since 1999, changed to Vodafone to take advantage of their 5.00 roaming, I dont think I will be going back to Optus.

    What's working? Mobile broadband for 24 mouths? I'd say it will work for a maximum of 5 mouths.

  Also, if anyone recently finished or on their last month of 50% off for 6 months on a $50 Sim-only plan, you can call them up to get the plan for $40. Might not work for everyone
