Saw this at Coles in Greensborough, not sure if it would be at any other stores or not.
Edit: Apparently back up to $0.59 now. Friend was told by staff today that it was a "one-day only deal" even though it was like that since Sunday…

nothing stopping you from adding it …
Greensborough is a little far.

Spag Bol and chilli for the next six months!
Chilli..?
where's the bargain on chilli?
I think he means "chili" as in chili con carne/pollo/etc.
ok. that makes sense.
I thought there was a vaccine for polio
what does that mean?
Cheese?
Chili with meat/chicken/etc.
I did originally put one 'I' but it autocorrected to two! Was going to change it but didn't think people could possibly get confused………..how wrong was I (one I) ?
Packaging alone would've cost more than 5¢!
What's wrong with it?
Probably decided not to clear the inventory and may not restock this product.
could be anything
Euro farm subsidies and stock dumping in action. Support Aussie farmers and don't buy it
LMFAO, they even made sure customers don't think it was a misprint by stating the saving of 54c! Can't blame people from thinking it was a misprint from 50c.
That's just the way the shelf labels print.
Why is that funny? Labels always show the 'saving'.
Because I never knew? Thanks for repeating something Kados already explained 12 hours ago!
hope it's nationwide, will have to take a photo of the stack next to my toilet paper, Mamma Mia
What's the expiry date?

I'd be calling up the local food charity and asking if they can send a truck. I'd donate about 100 slabs.
Are they made in Italy or China?
Also was it imported by these people?
hahaha ..yeah good one :)
Product of Italy by the looks of it (Googled - not listed on their own website but you can find snapshots of the can/details on other online shopping sites).
How thoughtful of them to put little skippys on the pills
Finally a slab I can feel good about buying.
Geez Scrooge, you look rough this morning.
- yeah, had a whole slab last night.
VB?
- nah, Cirio Tomato Paste.

This is awesome timing !!!
Only 38 days to go !!!
I think if you start throwing tins of tomatoes at people you might get more negs than you do here usually :p
only bottles are banned, not cans…
Just did the math, given we normally pay about 70-90c a can in SA normally, i'd need to buy about 200 cans to break even on the fuel to drive to this location :p
If you set of now you should be able to get to coles by 7am :D
they open at 6am so there should still be lots left
Foodland often has 680g tomato purée (Italian) for 90c. On my math that's about 4x cheaper for these Greensborough cans. You'd most probably need to buy the lot to break even ;)
I picked up several dozen from Foodland this week. I think the brand is Cucina.
Off topic but I used to love Greensborough pool. Bit far to travel now :)
Hmmm i wonder if they'd accept just jeans gift cards?
Yours arrived?
I'm only 5-6 km away and still this deal isn't enough to get me into greensborough plaza
Are you guys Cirio?!
"May cause red tide poisoning."
*** UPDATE ***
Still plenty left (purchased some 15 mins ago). Got a better bargain 12 cans for 50 cents. I think the checkout woman nearest to the service desk at Greensborough thinks there is only 10 in a pack. Product of Italy according to my tins.
love how the sign says "bargain!!. 60c for a slab of 12"
if I saw that sign in my local coles it would soon have a "Oz" at the start of it. ;)
