OCZ Arc 100 240GB SSD $108 Delivered @ Shopping Express (1 Hour Sunday, 1 Per Person)

150

I thought I'd post this from the recent Shopping Express email I received, although I'm well aware of the Sandisk SSD deal going on at the moment. But who knows, this might come in handy if that deal runs out and you really want to buy a SSD on Sunday (or you have brand favouritism).

50 available, 1 per person, only available 10-11pm AEST on Sunday (19th of July). Would recommend getting in which when it comes online if you want one.

$1 cheaper than the cheapest I can find on OzBargain (which was last month). This isn't the fastest SSD on the market either but for real world scenarios would be just fine.

Here's the segment from the email

  • This one is actually got faster write and thin can fit ultrabook.

  • There's also this for $69 delivered, ideal for someone looking to refresh an older laptop perhaps not running on SATA 3.

    120GB Toshiba Dyna Store - 400MB read 120MB write

Edit: scratch that, the sandisk 128gb,same price with over 300mb writrs is a better deal.

    • It also looks out of stock! But yeah, the Sandisk 128gb is probably better (for anyone who wants the direct link). However we have seen cheaper deals on it, as right now you also have to pay postage. For example, it's been cheaper at the MSY deal with the microSD bonus, and it has also been lower than currently at SE, $59 by some accounts

Thanks didn't realise the sandisk wasn't free shipping, the Toshiba was but now out of stock.

  • Thanks OP looks great.
Will try to get one for the folks PC upgrade. :)

Also there's a new OCZ Trion 100 SSD just released (up to 1TB capacities), which contains 100% Toshiba tech as they own OCZ now. Meant to be almost 6 times more durable than this one. :)
ARC 100 is rated at 20GB/day for 3 years.
    Trion 100 is 110GB/day for 3 years.

    120GB ~ $78
    240GB ~ $130
    480GB ~ $250
    960GB just under $500

It won't break any land speed records, but good value upgrade from old SSD or mechanical HDD.

      • @Click_It, yes mate on SI, sorry I should've specified.

        • All good :)
