Terrible game with a few bugs but cheap if you wanted it. Between $15 - $25 ($16 for Xbox1) for a physical copy when on sale if you prefer that route

Agreed, that was frustrating just scrolling past it. The sale is a pile of crap.

Is it really that bad? I used to absolutely love most wanted, is it far worse than that or people just don't like the game?
Runs at 30 FPS, not acceptable for a racing game imo.
Also the "dialogue" is cringeworthy, with such choice quotes as:
"We are the law, you can't catch devils with angels"
and
"I am the life you're too scared to live. You are asleep. I am awake"
I've found the "stories" appalling in every NFS game I've played, and Rivals is no exception.
Having said that, I'm addicted to this game at the moment (on PS4).
There is an annoying lag at times with the "Pursuit Tech" when playing online, but overall it's really fun and fairly difficult.

Personal gripes:
If you liked the 2012 Most Wanted you will probably like this. If you prefer the classic NFS games eg Carbon, Underground(s), 2005 Most Wanted or really any good arcade style racing game then Rivals is not for you. It's fun for a while, but the police chases are easily escapable; I would just go in a 50 metre donut across a 6 lane highway and though a pitstop (repairs and re loads weapons) constantly.
I thought they removed the full on car customization (a la NFS Underground) because it was taking away from the racing/driving component of the game.
Also I wouldn't exactly call Carbon and Underground "classic" NFS games. They were released some 10 years after the original.
True, but I believe most people are familiar with the Undergrounds/carbon/most wanted sequence of games.
