Hey guys and gals, today at BIGW I saw a guy purchase substantial amounts of $100 iTunes gift cards, Maybe around $1000-3000 worth of them, I overheard a BIGW employee say the guy wanted as many as possible, I'm Interested in knowing what people think this guy is going to do with them.

They are taking the Gift cards to Isengard
I know someone who bought $100k worth of DSE gift cards with an extra 10% bonus credit for resale and buying stock to resell overseas.
Guessing he's buying when there's 20% off and unloading them? Or buying in app credits/stuff to sell.
Could be possible. Apple Music app launched not too long ago. Wondering if that has anything to do with it.
Maybe he thinks he can buy a macbook/imac with them. lol
Maybe he wants to buy the Apathy Bear gun in Gun Bros 2, or maybe he's addicted to Super Monster Bros and its exorbitant in-app purchases.
Stolen credit card?

My company gave each employee a $100 gift card at year end. Possibly that's what he's doing at fin year end?
It's money laundering. Or it's purchased with a stolen credit card?
Hey funny you say this OP, I seen a Chinese lady buy up thousands of dollars worth just yesterday. Staff looked very surprised and she said that she would buy more if they could get it in. Something dodgy is going on.
lol maybe she's selling overseas where they dont have?
im sure they have itunes gift cards in China though…
Hmmmm the guy was also Asian, there's a chance they are related.
Did you scan one yourself…perhaps they were reduced.

Last night there was the AFL Footy Show, followed by the NRL Footy Show & something else called "Blokesworld" on a different channel. Trying to figure out which of the three was the most pathetic hurt my head. Now that I've read your two links above I'm convinced there is no hope for us men.
Maybe he sells them in a store but makes more profit buying them at a discount to resell than buying them direct
I was in our local small Coles store this week, and a fellow was buying cigarettes. He was paying every $1,000 or so (maybe some Coles limit?), and was up to over $2,000 when I walked away. He was paying in cash.
Probably runs a store of his own.
Probably runs a store of his own.
They were no cheaper than anywhere else.
He had to get them sometime, from somewhere.
Boil them.
Mash them.
Stick them in a stew.
