Elephone P6000
Are you talking about trunk calls??? Sorry, couldn't resist… :P
Seriously though, you have put a sim in it, right?
Sounds like it's more of a HELLphone
Yes I put the sim in and data for all apps that need data work fine but when you try and make a phone call there is no dialling as you hear when a call is made, also if you ring my phone from another phone it does not ring or connect. I am with Telstra and on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. All other phones have great coverage. The phone is showing good coverage in 4G.
Has the SIM card been activated?
Try shutting down, pulling the sim, waiting 5-10min and then reinsert and starting the phone.
Otherwise I would bring it into a telstra store and they may be able to help.
Good advice on the Telstra store.
I had problems with a BYO mobile, and they sorted it for me on the spot, even though the settings menu structure was quite weird.
That sounds about right. Mobile phones these days are not made for making or receiving calls. It just works with everything else. I gave up calling my wife on her mobile. Why call when she is on fb/WhatsApp/WeChat 24/7?
couple of things to try
Are the APN settings correct see here for the settings)
Is the sim activated?
is the sim in the correct slot (it's a dual sim phone right),
Have you tried the sim in another phone? Try another activated sim in this phone?
You might have to manually enter the carrier type in the settings…..Thank you yes works well in other phone
Will go into Telstra thank you
Telstra are unlikely to help you because it isn't their phone.
Had sim out tried in other phone .ok
Yes 2 years old and works in other phones
Yes in the correct slot , sim is activated, checking APN
Elephone p6000 has a 4G call issue try disable 4G and see if it works.
Also i am pretty sure a update was relased to fix this so try update your phone as well. Why not send it back to the supplier?
with those problems it sounds like an iPhone that is 366 days old.
Try doing a system restore then if that still doesn't work send it back and ask for a refund
Go to the store.
Try Gearbest.com They may have the answer in their site.
um, not nitpicking, but how can it work fine if (what I assume is a phone) cannot make or receive calls?
