Thanks for thethe feedback:)
Bought one a few years ago, tempted by the higher price and indication of better quality than the cheapies. Only used it occasionally. Like all air beds before it, I found that it eventually leaks and then fails at a seam. Been patched more than once, now consigned to the bin.
We haven't had any leaking issues with ours, so far. However, I do agree with the above poster they are noisy and, with some of the models, you have to pump the air out as well as in; you can't just let the valve go. This is not ideal if you are trying to leave someone's place early in the morning without disturbing them. Overall though, they are quite comfortable for that sort of bed.
We have an aldi one with inbuilt pump for over 18 months, no leaks yet. It was only 50 or so. Have used it aleast a dozen times.
I was going to blow up about the inflated prices but figured I'd give it a rest.
Mine sprung a leak and went down on me. If I knew that when I bought it, I would have paid more.
Snowys have them cheaper.
Queen $139.90 delivered
Single $114.90 delivered
I own and like the Aerobed, I only wish I could attach a nozzle to the battery pump so I could inflate non Aero inflatable mattresses with it.
An alternative may be to buy a Coleman (who own the Aerobed brand) rechargeable pump
I bought one for when friends visit
All of them have been very happy with the comfort. It's noisy when blowing up but only take 30-40 seconds.
