Grabbed a few pizzas today and came across this at NQR Glenroy, VIC. Offer might be at other NQR stores.
$2 for 12 .. works out at 17 cents each. Coles online price $2.20 for 1 so a saving of over $24. Best before date 3 Jun 2015

no not illegal. it isnt expired it best before.
Freezing food slows decay due to natural degradation. Most bacteria won't survive the temperature but chemicals will still slowly break down.
I wonder how long they will be good for…

I know that, I was meaning the best before date is the start of June and it's rice and eggs. That's why, I guess, the store is nqr - not quite right.

no, it is best before. expiry is a different thing.
As long as it was close, i'd do it.
I bought soups once for about 50c for work lunches, got a bit boring having the same soup for 6 weeks straight though lol
