It's all relative. We print on American Apparel shirts, not cheap shirts that will fall apart after a few washes. We also allow people to have control over the design of the shirt, allowing them to create something that is unique and personalised. Finally we ship the product to you without you having to leave your home.
If someone is after cheap, mass printed designs then this deal will likely not be for them.
Doesn't Threadless print on American Apparel shirts as well and their quality is questionable?
It would be nice to be able to zoom into/enlarge the sample pics to get a better idea of the the print quality and what the writing below the waveform says (I assume, the title and artist of the song?).
AFAIK Threadless haven't used AA for years and they commission their own. AA Tees have a pretty solid reputation.
I really like the idea of the zoom, there is an option to display just the soundwave also in the top left, from a usability point of view was this not clear to you? We try to make things as simple as possible.

Nah, that wasn't clear to me. I couldn't zoom/expand/click on the sample shirts so I never went as far as clicking on design a shirt. Only there could I see a close-up view of the shirt with my favourite song.
From a usability point of view, having the DESIGN YOUR SHIRT FOR FREE button being displayed 3 times on the main page is overkill. I think most users would expect to be able to click on the 6 shirts being displayed to get a better view of what the shirts/waveforms look like before considering designing their own shirt.
It's also not plainly obvious that TEE | SOUNDS is clickable and returns you to the home page.
Sorry about the critique. Interesting idea. I'd almost consider buying "American Jesus" by Bad Religion, but not a fan of the font type being used LOL
