Search Function and Expired Offers

Is there any chance we can have a feature for the Search function which allows us to not show expired items, or from like new to old?

Any updates on the search function listing items from new to old. It's increasingly frustrating searching for deals and wading through the results just to have the latest or the unexpired deal.

  It is actually calculating the weight with a few factors for example,
  
  When it was posted
  
  Number of comments (more comments implies "hotter" topic)
  
  Number of click through
  
  etc…
  
  It should be possible to provide alternate sorting methods.

MiCCAS' request (not showing expired deals) should work now. There is a new check box after you go into the search result which allows you to filter out expired and old deals.
