Never have a G Shock before and interested to get one.
Looking at the Starbuy promotion on G stock sale event
Like the price on the G shock of just $99.
For the same style, some colours sells up to $50 more.
Want your opinion - if you are buying, will you pay USD$20-$50 more just for colour you prefer?

I have been looking around at watches lately, found this Casio Solar one you might like -

It is very similar to a G-Shock but a nice cleaner simple look.
Similar price on ebay http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=Ca… so I wouldn't post it as a bargain, but it sure seems like one to me.

One downside is it appears to not have a seconds hand, but you can use the digital display for that.

yes spend more if you like the colours.
buy check ebay, some are cheaper (but make sure you buy from reputable singapore/hk sellers only).
yes warranty could be difficult with ebay so its up to you, you want saving or peace of mind.
