Hi, I wanna buy a designer suit, like armani, boss, versace or Zegna? any good deal recently?
I m particularly looking for smaller size suit - 44.
It's very hard to find one.

the only reason I need a designer suit is becoz I already got a tailored suit and thinking maybe it's good idea to keep a designer one for everyday business. so I guess every man needs at least two suits, and they should both be high quality.
based on your comment, I'll go for armani or versace coz I am too young to wear Zegna and too small to wear boss!
What is your budget?
I picked up an Armani Collezioni (Georgio Armani White label) for $1100 a few weeks ago reduced from a bit over 1800 I think. It was 40% off at David Jones Brisbane store. Not sure if sale is still on.
They also had 30% off all suits including Versace and Boss but that ended on the day.
However I think most of these designer brands are fused and not canvassed. The Collezioni range included. Canvassed suits drape and flow with your movement naturally and will conform to your bodies shape however this construction of a suit costs a fair bit more aswell.
For a Georgio Armani suit you will have to visit the official Georgio store in Sydney. Price range for Black label Armani is around 3-4K I think but basic stock rarely gets discounted. You will probably find 09 stock going on special though. At that range you could probably get a bespoke suit made by a good tailor from the ground up. Bespoke is different from made to measure, made to measure is where they already have the design in store and they just adjust it roughly to your size.
Hugo Boss is built for larger sized men.
Don't buy a Zegna unless you are over 50. It looks silly when a young person wears a square cut power suit.
Is there a reason to wanting a designer? No one is going to see the label from the outside. The most important thing is that you feel confident in the suit.

But bassically this years 09 stock will probably go on sale. Basic stock is less likely or will be marked down not as greatly.
