Now they have embraced the same attitude to customers.

  • far out they are lame

HT can run a quasi real time inventory system… what's the issue with officeworks?

they run SAP R/3 as well so it should be easy

  • Damn, sorry people!

      not your fault :P

  • postage and handling for laptop $4.95.For a mouse $10+_

    • Orders under $55 have both a $4.95 handling fee, and shipping fee.
Orders over $55 still have the $4.95 handling fee, but free shipping.

Thats why the mouse costs more than the laptop when it comes to postage.

      • i was happy to pay the $10 as i was going to buy 3.

but they NEVER have stock on these specials :(

  • erm 5.45 delivery fee and 4.95 handling fee?

    wtf

like i can order items in from asia and it costs me like 4.95 for the product, shipping and handling :P

i know OW are trying to make some money .. but by ripping people off like this.

regards to the real time tracking system .. they would do it on purpose, so they get your email details etc and can then use it for marketing / stat purposes… thats why they wont be introducing it anytime soon :)

I have spoken previously to officeworks about these problems. Apparently when you order from the web it only allows you to buy stock from the local warehouse, even though their may be some stock in another state. I said to them I can't believe that you only allow internet orders to be purchased from your local warehouse. Anyway I have mentioned to them that if this is the case of how they do business then they need to list what state has availability on their website. As I believe its very misleading. I would assume that if they have stock in their warehouses regardless of what state then the order should be able to be fulfilled.

Let hope they improve their system…..grrrrrrrr
