A couple of my eBay cashrewards haven't come through.
The details says "DO NOT visit other websites (including Google) whilst browsing on eBay – this may result in you not earning Rewards."
How does this work if you have multiple tabs? Sometimes I may need to open another tab while doing my eBay purchase, I try to do this in incognito mode if possible.
I've had other tabs opened and it still worked for me (I opened them prior to using cashrewards).
Most likely the reason why your cashbacks aren't going through is because you are opening a new tab and visiting a new site (I think tabs that have been opened prior to visiting ebay cashrewards don't count).
OK, fair enough. I need to stop multitasking when I'm trying to get my cashbacks then!
For some reason I thought opening a new tab (even in incognito mode) would be ok, but I don't know how I came up with that theory…
Cashbacks for eBay always work for me, even if I do open other tabs.
The problem is that all my PayPal transactions from other websites rarely seem to track and require investigation.
Are you using an ad blocker? It can block the cookies which cashrewards use to track your purchase.
I always have dozens of tabs and multiple browser windows open. I just make sure I don't load any other websites (whether it's opening new tabs or refreshing old ones) between going to cashrewards, and checkout/payment. If I need to check something on another website while I'm still on eBay (or whatever other website I'm trying to get cash back from), then I use a different device, like phone or tablet. For sites other than eBay, I actually add all my items to cart BEFORE I open cashrewards and click through - the cart will still have my items in it, and there are minimal steps between opening cashrewards and getting my order confirmation. This doesn't apply to eBay, because you have to click through from cashrewards first and then Buy It Now or bid on the auction.
I had the same problem before. I would close all my other windows / tabs before I checkout.
