Thanks mate, i got the 28 degrees card. I been hearing a lot about the citibank card (Citibank Signature Visa Card)
I am also a bit of a traveler and heard this is the best card for that
i think you've answered your own question.
also citi everyday visa debit
Looks like I didn't as someone suggested the bankwest zero
Bankwest Zero MasterCard platinum uses MasterCard rate but has benefit of travel & purchase insurances.
28degrees pretty much same but without the complimentary insurances.
Citibank Signature Visa IS NOT the best card for travelling. There is a 3.3% foreign transaction fee.
You are thinking of the Citi Plus Visa DEBIT card / account. This is the card with no foreign transaction fees and used to take out your own cash. This is a DEBIT account though, not a CREDIT card.
So for CREDIT- 28 Degrees or Bankwest Zero Platinum (no annual fee cards).
Thanks mate
With ordinary credit cards one pays about 2.5% more than the Visa/mastercard rate for currrency conversion plus an exorbitant 3% cross-border fee. I hope 28 degrees stays in business.
foreign exchange fee free cards are probably the first consideration

After that, it is irrelevant of the branding of the card, they all use common visa/MasterCard exchange rate.
