This $5 voucher and $5 birthday voucher can be stacked ?

    • I would also like to know the answer for this!

    • +1

      No they can't…
Firstly you register to get the $5 voucher via email.
Then you print it out and use it to buy a cake >$25.
After the transaction you usually get another $5 voucher printed at the bottom of the receipt which you can later use to purchase another cake in different transaction.

      Hope it helps.

This is a long running deal under The Cheesecake Shop (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/cheesecake.com.au), but it's good to get the knowledge out to people that might not know about it.

  • Voucher expires 1/8/2015

    classic deal

  • Voucher does not expire on a certain date. It expires after a period of 4 weeks from first joining as a member.
If you do not plan to get a cake within the next month, but perhaps later, you can probably hold off on joining up.

I joined after midnight and have expiry on 2nd of august.

They have $10 vouchers every month in Negotiator. They have an app as well where you can get the coupon and use then in shop.

Just try and buy one of their classic mudcakes - they don't sell them any more.

They've been replaced with "fancy" versions that are more expensive and have extra layers of crap on top.

Although, I could buy half an original caramel mudcake - but they no longer sell whole ones!

If you want a caramel mudcake now, you have to get one that's covered in some kind of gel glaze and pay extra for the privilege.

imho, If you live in NSW, the Cake Merchant is 1000% better, in price, quality and selection.

Sorry if I'm stating the obvious - but 25% off any item up to $10 with entertainment book.

    • +1

Are all their full cakes above $20?

      • Up to $10 value, So if you got a $40 cake you'd get $10 (25%) off.

        • What I mean is: For full cakes below $20, this $5 off voucher is better than 25% off. So, are all their full cakes above $20? If so, Entertainment Book is better in all cases. Otherwise, it depends.

Prices are a joke. $5 off doesn't put a dent in it.

They taste good though. Or at least they did. I haven't been in years due to pricing.

    • I think they taste crap, especially their baked cheesecakes. They are not baked, or if they are, they don't taste like it.

  • I've tried The Cheesecake Shop's "baked" cheesecakes and they're nothing like a proper baked cheesecake.
Are any of their other cakes good?

$10 off at Penshurst. The coupon is on page 14.

If you support the islamisation of Australia, this franchise pays the halal certification fee to support islamic charities.

To be honest, I am of the same opinion.

If we go to certain countries expecting our foods, we might not get it. Nor do we really have a right to that because we would then be guests of another country and as such have to abide by their way of life. Just as if we were invited to someone's house, we would have to be content with what we are given.

If, on the other hand, we go to someone's house and demand this and that, it wouldn't really be too ideal now would it?

Minority groups from abroad do need to understand that they might not get all they want in a foreign environment, and those organisations or people caving into demands and requirements set by those with differing beliefs are just as guilty by supporting minority demands.

    • According to their FAQ, some of their stores (aka Bakeries) are Halal certified. It appears to be 15 out of ~180 stores (according to "Halal Choices").

Hence these 8.3% of their stores may get some customers from the 476,000 (2013 Census) muslims in Australia who would otherwise not purchase there.

  • Perfect for the SFF's

  • Woah 8 years later…!
Should be a $10 voucher given inflation and all 😅

    • Cream cheese is expensive. I like baked cheesecake better, cheesecake shop is kinda foul.

  • They keep giving me back the same %10 off card from my local store.

  • Print the voucher?

  • Brought this https://www.cheesecake.com.au/our-cakes/party-cakes/choc-min… the other week, no one finished eating it. Too much mint that over powered everything else and was made from a cheap sponge cake, also didn't taste nice.
