It seems Kayano's are popular on here and I'm always interested to see where they are priced at. Checked the COTD site and saw the Kayano 21's for $158.98 delivered and thought it might be worth posting. Seems to be good level of variety (colours, Sizes) for Men/Woman.

Kogan beats COTD by $0.03 even after $10 referral credit. Isn't it a better idea to change the title to
ASICS Gel Kayano 21 - ALL $148.95 Delivered @ Kogan
and I doubt you can use the $10 credit on that purchase as well, it would be for a future purchase.
What's the difference between regular asics and asics kayano?
Asics 'Gel' ranges have gel cushioning in the sole (some Gel shoes have gel only in the heel, Kayano has gel inside entire sole). Cheaper ranges are not Gel. Also Kayanos have more flexibility in sole, provide support in arch, as well as ankle to prevent rolling, etc
Go to Asics website if you want info to compare their different shoes. Cheaper shoes will not cushion or protect your foot as well, are not as light in weight, less flexible, may not breath as well (eg. leather models are hotter than mesh). There are lots of differences in materials & features basically.
What is "regular"
Asics have a HUGE range, so no such thing as regular.
Kayano is top of the line. Many runners are recommended it as there is no better for 'normal' runners (which means pronated, as the majority do, like myself) .
Also, Gel normally refers to a cushioning shoe, which Kayano might have some of that tech, but is not a cushion shoe. It is a control shoe to help moderate pronation.
Nimbus & Cumulus are your gel cushion shoes.
It is a good medium distance race shoe.

I got a pair of GT-2000 (2E) at Brisbane DFO for $120.

Just a warning that there have reports of non genuine items being sold from COTD.
I bought a pair last week and I am not convinced they are originals. Had glue visible all over the shoe where the shoe meets the sole. I sent an email questioning the authenticity. Got an email back asking to return it.
Going to stringer sports to pick one up.
I had a pair from stringer sports where the tread on the Left foot came apart from the glue at just one location within a couple ofmonths of buying them
Did you go back to them? Want to understand what their customer service was like.
@pramki: They offered for me to return them so they could send to Asics for a factory return/refund. I ended up keeping them and just fixing the glue myself

Personally I'd buy Asics from the Asics website or a reputable retailer here or in the US, most of these ones available on ebay etc are knockoffs.
I picked up a pair if kayanos for $125 last week from asics outlet south wharf, limited sizes and colors but could be worth a try for some.
