Get the PS3 version… xbox version has crap matchmaking and u get stuck in US games

    • when are they gonna do the same update for xbox?

    • How is the matchmaking different on PS3 than 360?

      Sorry new to online consoles..

  • Yeah i only have a ps3 and bought the game just before. Great game and it searches for games from lowest latency.

this seems a good deal, sure — however, I thought I'd mentioned it's much cheaper on the net:

    for example, http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00269QLI8/ref=asc_df_B00269QLI8983…

eg. Amazon has it for US$44.96 (AU$49.28)

a quick search on google showed a few other US companies GameStop.com Glyde.com Walmart.com are comparable for most titles, just check they offer a discounted combined shipping price and buy a few titles together, which makes it super economical compared with our traditional Aussie price gouging.

BTW: if anyone knows a first rate price search site like staticice for the USA, I'd love to know it, most sites like epinions are generally pisspoor.

    • Except Amazon doesn't ship most electronics overseas.. (including games - or at least the one you just linked to)

GameStop shipping = 32USD + 5USD for subsequent games. Total = 92USD (or 101AUD).. You'd be better off walking into EBGames here (Gamestop) and getting it there.
I doubt glyde ships overseas with the quoted shipping price @ 3.57
And from memory, neither does walmart.

They're cheaper — if you live there.

Googling "price compare usa" is probably your best bet (or switching to US google results and googling price compare). You have to be careful though, as most US stores do not ship overseas.

Buying games is generally better from play-asia or the UK, as shipping from the US tends to not make it worth your while (for something larger, it would be perhaps). USPS is expensive, and intl couriers start at about 25$ (that's UPS, ~3-5 delivery time from dispatch), which is actually fairly cheap.

      • true — as I was suggesting shipping is steep for one item, but if you bought 5-6 titles, it works out pretty good value.

most US stores don't ship that stuff o/s, but using a drop-ship/escrow company or with friends/family there, it sure helps simplify things. in that case, I'm getting free shipping locally and then forward with regular USmail here, which is much cheaper than FedEx and co.

tried pricegrabber/shopping/dealtime, they sometimes produce better results than epinions, all of them are sketchy at best — none come anywhere close to staticice (which I guess uses some kind of webcrawler engine).

UK appears to be cheap too, MW2 is advertised for GBP30-35 at many retailers not sure what the shipping is, though.

playasia is fine, but the prices aren't always better than a local shop, but with a better range and newer titles is a plus.

  • Am I crazy for not seeing this and just buying this game from CDWOW for 76.95? :(
What is the gift card offer?
