Just follow this instead to get your US iTunes account, it is much simpler (actually mentioned on the last page of that link)

I used Dell's headquarters in Texas as my US iTunes address. ;)
The important thing here is it's not just a sampler but an iTunes LP and they are quite pretty. Oh and look! Stephen Colbert!
