Hi! Just bought this Blu-Ray player from Clive Peeters today. Have checked on EBay and Shopbot, and this is the cheapest I have found for a brand new Panasonic Blu-Ray Player.

I believe they are upgrading to a newer model soon with lots of new features, but this one has got the best reviews in PC Buy, CNET, and Good Gear Guide for budget Blu Ray Players.

I also noticed that this was $599 in March 2009, so it has dropped down in price by $303. Pretty good discount and I have tested it out and think it's awesome!

Note that the Player doesn't come with a HDMI cable, it only comes with a RGB cord and power plug.

    Great player but if you live near a Bing Lee (NSW/ACT) you can pick one up for $249.

    Also have the feature packed LG BD370 for about $280. All great players.

    We previously saw this same player with 5 free movies. Hopefully the price of Blu-Ray players will keep coming down, or hopefully they'll be superseded by downloadable movies, a bit like what MP3 and iPods did to the music industry.

    Seems a good deal if you missed the Kogan.
